RailControl Pro version 3.4.3 is now available from the App Store for iOS and iPadOS.
For macOS, version 3.4.2 is finally available. Version 3.4.3 for macOS is still pending review. It almost takes a week for Apple to review macOS apps nowadays.
This update fixes a few extra issues with CS3 software version 2.6. Here are the full release notes.
As always, let me know if you encounter any issues with CS3 V2.6, or anything else. Thank you all for your patience, bug reports and supportive messages!
Update 19 March 2026

This update fixes all the remaining known issues with CS3 software version 2.6.
Update 16 March 2026
RailControl Pro version 3.4.1 is now available from the App Store for iOS and iPadOS. The macOS update is still pending review at Apple.
This update fixes locs, articles, automations and backups when connected to a CS3 running software version 2.6.
Known issues:
- Track Diagrams look broken
- Loc Traction doesn’t work anymore
- Zones are not displayed in the article navigation
- Broken symbols for some articles like double switches
I still recommend to stick with CS3 software version 2.5 for now. There are multiple reports online that version 2.6 contains many bugs, which need to be addressed by Märklin. Some people even downgraded back to 2.5 after updating.
In any case, I’m busy working to get things running as smoothly as possible again in RailControl Pro, and will keep you informed here.
Let me know if you bump in to any other issues that the ones listed here.

Märklin has just released version 2.6 of the CS3 software. Unfortunately, this update breaks compatibility with RailControl Pro. A fix is on the way.
If you’ve already updated your CS3 to version 2.6, you may have noticed that RailControl Pro no longer works correctly. I’m aware of the issue and am working hard to resolve it. Expect a compatible version of RailControl Pro early next week.
If you haven’t updated yet and rely on RailControl Pro, I’d recommend holding off on the CS3 update until the fix is released. I’ll post an update here as soon as the new version is available.
Thanks for your patience!
